SoundPrism uses native macOS frameworks to process per-app audio output. All audio processing (volume, EQ, compression, noise gate, balance) happens entirely on your device. No audio data is ever transmitted over the network.
If SoundPrism crashes, a crash report is saved locally on your Mac. These reports contain only technical information (stack traces, app version, macOS version) and are never automatically uploaded. You can view or delete them at any time.
SoundPrism uses Sparkle to
check for updates. When checking for updates, Sparkle sends a request to our update server
(castorlogic.com) which includes your macOS version and app version. No personal
information is included. You can disable automatic update checks in preferences.
License verification is handled by Paddle. When you purchase or activate a license, Paddle processes your payment information according to their privacy policy. SoundPrism itself does not store your payment details.
Your per-app settings (volume, EQ, routing, compressor) are stored locally on your Mac. They never leave your machine.
SoundPrism contains no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking. We don't use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any third-party analytics service on our app or website.
